Why do we feel so lost?

I hope everyone is having an amazing day, In Sha Allah!!

After ages, I am finally back on my blog page to spill all my thoughts and share them with all of my sisters! 

I am sure, Ya'll need some sort of reasoning and explanation to why I had been gone. Being a med student and a Muslimah, I was kind of stuck between finding the right balance.

At certain levels of our lives, we often find it hard to manage our thoughts and to find a middle hand in everything and while I was pinned to finding evenness in my life, I wrote a few things in my journal which allowed me to reorient my compass.

Alhamdulilah.

In my last blog, I mentioned an exam I was really perturbed about, Alhamdulilah (all thanks to God) I was able to clear it off. JazakAllah-u-Khaira to everyone who wished the best for me ^u^. If you wanna check it out, I linked it here.

Here are a few things, you might be IN-NEED of hearing!

★ Why do we suffer from hardships? Because, Allah (SWT) wants to see you in that state of humility called "Tadarra", as under such situations Allah's servant is closest to Him.

(Tadarra is to have humility and desperation being at the break of death.)

Life's storms made you seek Allah (SWT) so, isn't that storm a blessing? take it this way, look at that storm as a blessing not as an annihilation.

★ Hazrat Umar (R.A) wanted to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) but, when he heard the revelation, he changed. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) even said that if there were a Prophet after me, it would've been Umar (R.A). 

★ Jannah is made for the sinners and so is Jahannum except that, Jahannum is for the arrogant sinners and Jannah is for the repentant sinners.

★ Allah doesn't stop someone from guidance. Whoever STRIVES is GUIDED.

★ The painful arrow pulverisation event, this relates to the time Imam Ali was pierced in the leg by an arrow and due to excruciating pain, nobody was able to remove it. Someone suggested to wait until Imam Ali began praying, while he prayed, he entered a different realm of reality, becoming so detached from his body in the presence of Allah, that his companions were able to remove the arrow with ease.

★ Take one step towards me, I will take ten steps towards you. Walk towards me, I will run towards you -Allah.

★ Will you not then be mindful of him? Who provides you from the sky and the earth? Who is it that has power over hearing and sight? and Who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? and Who is it that rules and regulates all affairs? They will say, "Allah". Then say, "Will you not then be mindful of Him?"- Qura'an (10:31)

★ Islam reminds us to fly. We are all born with spiritual wings, Islam only reminds us how to fly.

★ 2 Rules on the path TO GOD, Begin and Continue.

★ When people say and think good about you. Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A) was an inspiration to many people of his time. He was highly admired for his good deeds, however he often used to make a beautiful Dua'a when he saw people appreciating and admiring him and it translates to, "Oh, Allah! forgive me for what they do not know about me and make me better than what they think I am."

★ The darker it gets, the brighter the stars seem.

★ The man who wanted to REFUTE the Qura'an. There was this man who read the Qura'an with the intention of proving it wrong and false, in other words he wanted to refute it. This man was Dr. Jeffrey Lang, he was reading the Qura'an with the intention of refuting it. He said, "I was reading the Qura'an and I found it reading me." 

Dr. Lang was asked why he was so comforted by the Qura'an? He said, "Is the baby not comforted by his mother's voice?"

★ Value of this world. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The value of this WORLD compared to that of the HEREAFTER is like what your finger brings out from the sea when you put it in and then take it out." 

★ "What is meant FOR YOU will reach YOU even if it is beneath two mountains and what is not meant for you will not reach you even if it is between your two lips." -Imam Al-Ghazali.

Remember to always believe in Allah (SWT). He knows everything, while we know nothing. How can we predict something to be good for us when we aren't even aware of what's gonna happen the next second. 

Last but not the least,

★ Don't be malleable towards the world. 

Think rationally and if you want to be blessed with success in this world and the other then here is your call from the Qura'an,

"Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day. Whosoever fears Allah in whatever he does, Allah will open for him away out of the difficulties and will provide for him from whence he could little imagine. And whoever trusts in Allah, He is enough for him. Allah brings His decrees to fulfillment. Allah has appointed a destiny for everything." -Qura'an (surah at-talaq 2-3)
