Things changed... PART:1
"EVERY RELIGION HAS AN INNATE CHARACTER AND THE CHARACTER OF ISLAM IS MODESTY."
Roring from place to place I never exactly felt, "BEING WHERE I WANTED TO BE."
Although I saw numerous people out there spilling their stories about where they started from to the exact point of where they were capable enough to utter, "I'M EXACTLY WHERE I WANTED TO BE."
Allah (SWT) Has stated in the Qura'an:
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
For indeed, with hardship (will be) ease.
Indeed, with hardship (will be) ease.
and, Allahuma Barik! (Bless them) I'm happy to see those people who've attained the bounty they've always worked for.
But, you know that constant urge that is naturally ingrained within a human being and it leads us to the constant "Tom and Jerry chase" behind "true peace of mind."
During this process our interests often mislead us towards wrong ways of attaining peace and happiness, that's when we fall into "negative addictions" and if sadly, you're struggling with any of these addictions towards unfair things, then you can click right here and have a read through, I hope this helps In Sha Allah!!
people frantically swoop through the book of life, in search of true happiness, until they realise that it's always been there, within them! and all this time, they've just been holding it hostage, layering it up with negative alternatives of "sukoon" (peace) when you already posses something beautifully irreplaceable and that is:
Faith.
☆ On 23rd August, 2021 I got my first EVER abaya!! ☆
Well.. i don't know how to put this feeling into words.
It is absolutely stirring!
Let's cherish "Throwback Thursday" at this point so.. through my self-development journey, I had seen many women falling for the complete "jilly addiction" (jilbab) or a complete "abaya jones" but, apart from the comeliness it comes with and a sudden impulse of having that huge collection called: "MODEST LAND", there's something deeper to it.
As said beautifully in the Qura'an:
"O, Prophet (SAW) tell your wives, your daughters and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments. This is better so that they will be recognised and not molested. God is forgiver, merciful" (33:59)
and..
"O, children of Adam, we have brought down to you garments to cover your private parts, as well as for adornment, yet the garment of reverence is the best. These are some of God's signs, perhaps they will remember." (7:26)
The Ayah's reflect the disposition of utter pulchritude associated with modesty of men and women.
The feeling of wearing an abaya just for Allah (SWT) is completely grand and marvy.
It is hard to connect this tenderness with anything else in the world.
SubhanAllah!! (God is perfect!!).
Shakespeare once said:
"The apparel oft proclaims a man"
and, this simply means that people often form judgements about others based upon the clothes that they wear. Summarising it all up, the talk is always about the supposed moral values attached to a woman's dress or the purity of their attire that go against the parameters laid down by the moral police...Islam beautifully breaks us free from all of these shackles and fringes of right and wrong basis of judgement... (TO BE CONTINUED)
stay tuned for the next part, In Sha Allah!! :)
