Cup of joe, drizzle and my weblog

Ya Ahlan Wa Sahlan!! (Hello And Welcome!!) ^u^

Blue font, because it's been pouring quite hard since a few hours. It seems like one of those days, where you'd want a hot cup of joe with a light drizzle of chocolate, a book, and a cute little weblog to jot down everything.

I decided, I wouldn't be writing on a specific topic today rather journal everything that has been up lately. It's Dhul Hijjah (12th month of the Islamic calendar) and I can keep writing for hours when it comes to it's significance or vitality. Also, if y'all get interested in learning more about it. Head over to my Instagram page, which is linked on the left corner in details about me :) Can't wait to see all my sisters there!

Anyways,

Every motion of earth seems so minute until or unless you actually ponder over it. Scrape the covers and dig-in to it's depth and try to visualize the exact story it is trying to deliver.

Why can't we fly? But, birds can.

Why can't we dive as they do through the sky like waves layered in the ocean.

Have you looked at how the birds fly? They spread open their wings and occasionally close their wings - how do they stay in the sky without falling? (Surah Al-Mulk verse:19)

How are the leaves dancing, even though no one is moving them? No one is supporting them, why is it that they can move without being string-tied?

And the plants and the trees both prostrate themselves to Him. (Surah Rahman verse:6)

How is it pouring even though there isn't any pipeline system above.

How is it that all wounds and scars end up healing with time? Is it the medicine?

Yes. It is "aided" by the medicine but ointments, meds can't fix everything. A doctor can sew your stitch, but he can't blow a magical sparkle dust over it to turn it back into skin. Even a doctor waits for the natural healing provided by no one but, "Al-Shaafi" The Doctor of doctors.

You can take an umbrella, dazzle the world with that fancy raincoat you've been saving all these months to rock on, specially when it comes to a city where it rarely rains (P.s: quick fact, When I was in pre-school, I waited months for it to rain, just so I could wear my blue raincoat and rock it off ^u^).

We can take all the precautions in the world, wear thicker clothing, sweaters and hoods to protect our bodies from cold, You can try your potential best but can't ever stop the pouring rain. You ever, wonder how science and technology progressed so much but could still not figure out how to stop rain, how to prevent changing of seasons and so much more when it comes to discussing such unchangeable phenomena's.

These things are simply not in our control. Just like our lives. How much money we'll get, what job we'll get and if we would be getting into Agha Khan or not. It isn't in your control. Perform ablution, grab a cup of cappuccino and let such teeny-tiny but deep vital facts sink in. Jot them in your mind and let yourself know that what you can do is take healthy steps, Hustle.. keep going. But, don't rush behind controlling your Matric board exams, even though you know they got to happen on the same date, and even if you try to flush your date-sheet down the toilet, that doesn't change when they are going to happen. They are still going to haunt you like nothing. Yes :)

Another idea that storms our logical essence of mind is the fact that all of this stuff doesn't happen on it's own. Who keeps the birds firm in the sky? Who is authorized for switching seasons? It's no one else but,

Allah.

Nobody else. But,

Allah.

He created man from dry clay like the clay of pottery. And the jinn: He created from smokeless flames of fire. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both [jinn and men] deny? (Surah Al-Rahman verse:14-16)

SubhanAllah!!

So, a little take home prescription for you all would be to take the changing setting, the changing scenery as an opportunity to look-into what everyone else can't see. The question, "why?" would storm your mind with a sparkle of curiosity, with a glitter to get to know your Lord, Allah. To connect with the world and to relate it with it's branches to finding and knowing Allah. Rain, summer, bloom, winter and so much more is your cue to grab that cappuccino mug, head over to your terrace, grab a pencil and a paper and scribble whatever motion you can see. Don't be afraid to ask, "Why?"

And, when you need answers, know that Qura'an and Islam is your answer.

This is your wholesome sister, with her crusty couch, a sparkly bottle of water, a huge window with drizzle outside, 3 siblings making mass of noise with Netflix over TV and a pair of smooth crocs.

Finally signing off.

JazakAllah-u-khaira for sticking till the end!!

Assalam-O-Alaekum!! :)
