Brunch at Hanna lake Quetta!

Ya ahlan wa sahlan! (Hello and Welcome!)
Crazy academic-pressure... and the incessant entry tests, dropping over my head like some massive bombshells, have made it quite unfortunate for me to ever have trips or ever laze and loaf around Fortunately, I was blessed with a week-off after a never-ending wrath of an extremely illiberal schedule that I'd made for myself, hehe but atleast it was something worthy. Thanks' to Almighty! I am quite content of what I left-off on my question paper (Finger's crossed) *
p.s: pray for my pleasant, yet cheesy and perplexing life :))
Now, it's never always and ever, the study pressure that kills my vibes and partially murders my inner little adventurous self always looking for whacky ways to offer my own self jeopardizing, near-death escapades (which I secretly love).... it's also because it takes me a whole life-time to choose from my very limited options of dresses and shoes... and bags... and...jewellery, hehe!
So, I spend most of my time choosing what to rock-on with! once I've tried every last bit of tops and bottoms, as a last resort... I ask my MOM 💖 (she has a very classy sense of outfits)
p.s: you're the best mom! and I love you even more than Kit-Kat Bueno White!!
At sharp 11.30 am ,we needed to be at the venue. We dashed out of the house around 10.48 am, my dad constantly rebuked us because of our last-minute "get ready with me" sessions. The wind wasn't as cruel as it was the last day, but it was cool, brisk and sharp enough to cut through the air. I was thanking Almighty that I'd gathered my hair up in a pony-tail instead of opening them because, at the end of the day, all older aunties were going through tough luck setting their hair up, trying their very best not to have a BAD-HAIR DAY!
We loafed around on a mountain top lounge, It was clean and classy. Their were red and grey couches and different paintings regarding the most-exotic sites of PAKISTAN!
As my dad had been rebuking us all across our trip to the sort-of-mountain type area... Guess what! we were the first one to show up at the venue and we were crazy-mad at him but he was gone to the gents lounge and was safe from our very mad confrontation UuU
Soon, many cars started making an appearance, and scrunched-up at the parking area! there were Assalam-o-Alaekum's and Wa'alaekum-Salam's everywhere (muslimcommunity :))
I met some very amiable fella's and we had our usual GIRL chitchat! and discussed how Quetta (a city in Pakistan, in the province of Balochistan) had felt a little rustic due to the very-backward trends followed here that were quite discrete from the normal-urban trends!
Carpet's were lined at the stage area for a band to make an appearance, They played Pakistani-chamber music! (which I was not interested in, even a slight-bit) hehe! We decided to flee-off the scene and hike down the little trail which was well-nigh the lake!
The water glittered like pearls, stretched across the entire superficial area! the sun felt warm.... as it was chilly, the warmth was bearable enough and quite comforting :))
We strolled-up the trial, That's when my brother's sighted a little trampoline with a bunch of other swing's. I left them off their for a wee-bit.... We came back and saw tables lined up with an ambrosial aroma! (The food was served! yum)
I was starving! as the last thing I had was just mineral-water and no breakfast.... If you are correlated with the vast and spicy food culture of Pakistan and India! You'll know what the food was:
Poori, Naan, Cholay, Haleem, a Highly Oiled Chicken Karahi, Seekh-Kebab's and Lassi! (all traditional Pakistani breakfast).
No-offence but I didn't like the lassi they'd offered. It tasted like MORE WATER and LITTLE MILK (now you'll get the idea of exactly how it tasted) I even spotted cappuccino machine across the garth and sauntered to get some! it was yummy! (but not more yummy than the caramel coffee, we made back at home, it's finger-licking...I mean mouth-watering)
We had a sing-off session at the stage... My siblings quickly scooted off towards the stage singing a bunch of K-pop song's with their highly swag-style and crazy hand movements! They even received a bunch of goodies... which mostly had a black, labelled mug, geometry-kit and my brother received the Director's cap (which was no-less than an honour)
It was quite a time! and I had relish of an experience :)) I think I made quite a good use of the leisure-time that I had been blessed with! 💙
That's it for today :3
Now.... it's time for y'all to leave your memorable experiences in the comments down below... so, get commenting ^u^
till my next blog!!
Assalam-o-Alaekumm!!
